A shell and tubes heat exchanger 1-4 has 1024 tubes is 3.7 m long, want to heat 400,000 kg / h of a light fraction of oil from 293 K to 331 K, which circulate through the interior of tubes. As fluid heater uses a heavier fraction that enters the body of the exchanger to 403 K. Find the values of the following:

a) The heat transferred (q).

b) Calculate ε and NTU.

c) The outlet temperature of the heavy fraction (T10) and the flow (W1).
