3. PILOT PLANT ABSORPTION OF GASES
The pilot plant in which all tests were performed on CE 400. The company that provided the device is Gunten, Gerätebau GmbH, a German company dedicated since 1979 to development, production and marketing of equipment used for technical training.
The main purpose of the device is to determine the amount of CO2 can be removed, with a mixture of gas, air and carbon dioxide, by absorption technique for the gas with the solvent (water ) from a column filler.
In the same figure one can see how the team was initially covered with glass wool in order to reduce the noise produced by the compressor and fan when in operation.
